Jody Schinkel works as a senior exposure scientist at TNO. During his thesis, he developed and validated the generic exposure models Stoffenmanager and Advanched Reach Tool (ART). Over the past years, he has coordinated the asbestos projects which are carried out within TNO as the Business Development Manager in the unit Healthy Living (Prevention, Work & Health). Mostly, these projects focus on measuring and controlling exposures levels during the removal of asbestos-containing materials.
In his presentation, Jody will explain the very latest science on the distribution routs and exposure risks of asbestos fibres that are released through the weathering of asbestos roofs. Obviously, this topic has global relevance.
