Herm Zweerts studied at both the University of Amsterdam and the KU Leuven in Belgium, enabling him to combine his scientific background of soil science and toxicology with practical knowledge of asbestos related engineering problems. He delivers practical advice on implementing safe asbestos working procedures for industries, infrastructure and authorities. He is one of the founders of ACA (Asbestos Centre ARCADIS) which is licensed to investigate asbestos in the Netherlands.
