Kyoto Van Herreweghe is a member of our Real Estate, Environment/Energy & Regulatory practice and heads the Environmental and Energy Practice of Lydian.
Kyoto has considerable experience in environmental law in the broadest sense, covering amongst others urban planning, permitting, soil legislation, waste and water legislation, as well as in energy law, with a specific focus on energy project development. Apart from providing hands-on advice in the aforementioned areas, she has in-depth experience in environmental litigation (administrative proceedings, proceedings before the Council for Permit Disputes/Council of State). She also regularly assists clients in environmental and energy transactions (due diligence, contracts etc.).
Kyoto started her career in 2012 at the Antwerp Bar. In 2015 she transferred to the Brussels Bar. She has been working as a lawyer for over 12 years.
